Welcome to the second issue of Flights, our very own journal, we’re so pleased that there is a second issue, you never know what’s going to happen when you start these things. Many thanks to all of you who have fed back on the first issue. We are delighted that we continue to receive so many submissions.

We’d like to say a really big thank you to, friend of the Dragonflies, Michael Powell, for permission to use his stunning photo of a Halloween Pennant Dragonfly as our cover art.
If you are inspired by what you read here, we take submissions on a rolling basis so you are welcome to submit at any time, we hope to produce the next edition of Flights in December.
In the meantime, we trust you enjoy the wonderful poetry, prose and flash we are so privileged to publish in this second edition.
